Does anyone know how you can tell that this is my third cup of coffee? Nope, it’s not just because my eyes are open. That happens by the second cup. No, it’s because there’s no puddle of spilled coffee pooling around (and on) my feet, and I have had enough presence of mind to throw the dogs outside to pee, as evidenced by their lack of presence at my feet, which is otherwise, uuuuh…ever-present.

Pacalaga and I were having a conversation yesterday, and we came to the unanimous conclusion that, whether fur-covered or plump and squirmy pink, there’s nothing cuter than little feet.
